WELCOME TO MIAMI OUTBOARD CLUB
Established 1938
Since 1938, the Miami Outboard Club has been a cornerstone of South Florida’s boating community—bringing together individuals who share a passion for life on the water, camaraderie, and tradition.
Founded in April 1938, the Club was created with the purpose of promoting boating and all related activities, while fostering a strong sense of friendship and fellowship among its members. In its earliest days, a small group of enthusiastic boaters gathered wherever they could—garages, storefronts, and even filling stations—united by a shared vision and love for the water.
A LEGACY ON WATSON ISLAND
Since 1946, the Club has proudly maintained its home on Watson Island. Over the decades, this location has served not only as a gathering place for members, but also as a valued part of the greater Miami community.
Through the years, the Miami Outboard Club has remained actively involved in supporting community initiatives, preserving boating culture, and creating meaningful connections both on and off the water.
Today, we continue to honor our heritage while embracing the future of boating in Miami.
